Much has changed with technology since I started doing websites back in 2005. back then I hand coded everything and there were no mobile devices and people knew little about technology so didn't want to maintain there site.
Now about 20% of people use a tablet or mobile device to access web pages so those pages need to be mobile format friendly. Also many people want to maintain there site after it is set up.
Fortunately companies have appeared that make this easy and affordable. Some of these are wordpress.com, godaddy.com and weebly.com as well as many others. This is the direction I am going now to do new websites.
Of course I haven't taken the time to redo my site yet. That comes next.
